SFTS Friday Night Conversations in Theosophy 2012-03-16 (1 of 2) SFTS Friday Night Conversations in Theosophy 2012-03-16 (2 of 2)

In a recent Friday night talk on “Liberation,” Tahir shared her own insights and experiences as well as inspirational readings from the Diamond Sutra, the Tibetan Book of the Great Liberation, Union of Mahamudra and Dzogchen, and a lively discussion followed.

Of particular poignancy was one of Daniel Ladinsky’s renditions from the poetry of Hafiz:

Dropping Keys
The small man
Builds cages for everyone
He
Knows.
While the sage,
Who has to duck his head
When the moon is low,
Keeps dropping keys all night long
For the
Beautiful
Rowdy
Prisoners.

The Gift
The Gift; Hafiz
