SFTS Lodge Photo Gallery

[singlepic id=21 w=260 float=right]

One picture is worth a thousand words," or so the saying goes. There are over five hundred pictures (and counting) in this collection, but they are worth more than almost five hundred thousand words.

Indeed, their worth is beyond what can be expressed in words -- however many are used, and however well they are chosen. These photos capture love revealing itself to itself over and over again, in innumerable forms and incalculable ways.

You will find images of Joe and Guin, and their many friends, on the "Walk" in Golden Gate Park, at the SFTS Lodge, and elsewhere. If you spent time with Joe and Guin, you will probably see yourself or some of those you will remember.

The faces of hundreds of people who loved Joe and Guin are included here, there are hundreds more we don't have images of -- yet.

Friday Night Conversations in Theosophy

Every Friday evening at 8:00 pm, we hold “Conversations in Theosophy,” in which the world’s great mystical traditions, including Buddha Dharma, Vedanta, Christianity, Shamanism and Theosophy itself are explored through personal experience, scientific research and the study of sacred texts. We also hold monthly meditations for planetary compassion and healing.

SFTS Journal

The SFTS Lodge Journal offers a glimpse into the life of this center, including recordings of select Friday night presentations, poems and essays contributed by Lodge members, and even the minutes from a Lodge meeting one hundred years ago. Enjoy.

For those of you who were there, remember; for those of you who were not there, now you are!  Enjoy.

Songs to Live By — The Music of Joe and Guin Miller

Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche called the music of Joe and Guin Miller, the “first American mantras.” And indeed, these songs, composed by Guin, and performed by Joe and Guin, deliver a powerful message of spiritual awakening.

The following links give you access to audio files of Joe and Guin Miller in concert at the SFTS Lodge, produced by Sarmad Ocampo and a .pdf containing the sheet music for Songs to Live By, as transcribed by W. Blake Derby.
